Taojiang Yanghui Wood Industry Co., Ltd., Taojiang Qixing Bamboo Industry Co., Ltd. and Taojiang Yanglin Immigrant Bamboo Industry Co., Ltd. are local 3 companies who have been operating in the bamboo industry for more than 10 years and have accumulated certain experience in the processing of bamboo products. Together they established Songhui Bamboo Wood Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hunan Songhui) in December 2013. This is to promote the upgading of Taojiang bamboo and wood industry. The bamboo and wood processing industry will be developed in accordance with the strategic thinking of developing an eco-environmental and benefit-based economy to improve the comprehensive development and utilization of bamboo and wood resources.

In March 2016, Jianglian Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Jianglian Heavy Industry) invested and became a controlling shareholder of Hunan Huihui Bamboo Wood Technology Co., Ltd. The joint implementation of Wutan Biomass Heat and Power Supply Project in Taojiang County, Yiyang (Hunan Songhui Biomass Power Plant) was put into operation in 2018 to complete an important project in the transformation and upgrading of business model.

Hunan Songhui Biomass Thermal Power Plant is located in Wutan Industrial Area, Taojiang County. It is close to the G207 national highway and the Erlianhaote-Guangzhou high-speed interchange and the S205 and S317 provincial highway intersections. As an important traffic hub, it wins obvious geographic advantages. Using local “green energy” like bamboo and wood processing waste as fuel for power generation, the power source radius of the power plant can be radiated to the entire area around Taojiang County; the power station area is rich in groundwater resources and the use of groundwater as a water source for the entire plant is guaranteed.

The installed capacity of the power plant is 1×18MW units equipped with a 75t/h biomass-fired high-temperature high-pressure JG-75/9.8-T high-low differential bed boiler from Jianglian Heavy Industry Group. The plant has 44 people in the crew, 7000 hours of operation per year. The annual consumption of biomass fuel is 120,000 to 160,000 tons. The electricity generation is about 100 million kilowatt-hours and annual electricity supply is about 85 million kilowatt-hours.
